Gobbledok the Money Tin Monster

 

Bonjour fellow humans, I think.

I would like to introduce you to one of my newest creations, Gobbledok the money tin monster. His body is an old, plastic milkbottle. I jave then stuck felt over the body and stuck a mouth on the inside. His eyes as you might guess are styrafoam eggs cut in half.

You can actually flip the head open to reveal a mouth.

Underneath the tongue is a secret coin slot.

But you can lift the whole mouth up if you want to access the money inside.

You just have to remember to feed him three times a day witha healthy diet of coins, otherwise he may eat some stuff which would be a bit unfortunate.

Needle felt foods

Hi again guys,

Sorry for the extensive time off the website, lot’s of stuff going on. Anyway back to needle felt.

Well, today I’ve got some foods which I made out of needle felt.

First we’ve got half an avocado. It’s very small and very hard to make however the end result is awesome.

Second we’ve got half an apple which was a lot easier!

There is a very strange story about how felt was first made. It was done ages ago. Two men had escaped from prison and were running from the law. To stop getting blisters on their feet they stuffed a lot of wool in their sandals. By the time they had reached their destination all the rubbing, heat and sweat had turned the wool into socks! Very strange story!

Fluffy Donut

Hello again,

This image in front of you are some donuts that I made out of needle felt. It took longer than I thought it would to make it firm that the end result was worth it.

In making this piece of craft I had to shape the amateur out of half a pipe cleaner then wrap a whole heap of needle felt on around it. I then padded it down with a special type of needle for about an hour and, Voila, there was the donut.

As you can see,

my creation was met with particular joy by my bunny friends.
