Rock Monsters

Hi guys,

Well, I saw these little creatures on the internet a little while ago and I’ve got to admit, they looked really cool. So I ended up trying to replicate them. Pretty much all you have to do is paint the desired rock whatever colour you want and add eyes and a toothy mouth. Sadly I don’t have googly eyes so I was left to paint the eyes on. Still, the result was quite nice.

Hope you like them!

Sabine’s Helmet

Hi everyone, hopefully someone.

I thought I would like to show you a replica of Sabine Wren’s helmet from the Rebels that I mad with paper mache. I did the normal blow up a balloon and paper mache over it. But I then had to cut it up into the right shape try to get the eye level right, papier-mache a couple more layers and then after all that, it didn’t fit. So I ended up cutting it up again, adding extensions and expanding the eye spots. However, I was rewarded when, after a lot of hard work it fit perfectly.

I then moved onto painting it which was a lot of fun. The pattern was just right and I managed to make the right colour with the little amount of paint that I have.

The end result looked really cool.

Gobbledok the Money Tin Monster

Bonjour fellow humans, I think.

I would like to introduce you to one of my newest creations, Gobbledok the money tin monster. His body is an old, plastic milkbottle. I jave then stuck felt over the body and stuck a mouth on the inside. His eyes as you might guess are styrafoam eggs cut in half.

You can actually flip the head open to reveal a mouth.

Underneath the tongue is a secret coin slot.

But you can lift the whole mouth up if you want to access the money inside.

You just have to remember to feed him three times a day witha healthy diet of coins, otherwise he may eat some stuff which would be a bit unfortunate.

Anyway, hope you like him.

Polka dot the Paper Mache Bird

Hello there,

In this blog I would like to show you my paper mache bird which I made the skeleton of, a couple of years ago but never had the heart to finish it. The inside is made up of newspaper, wire and duc tape. To finish the bird (YAY!) I painted it different colours, made a beak out of paper cups and stuck some feathers in for the wings, tail and crest.eyes are just styrofoam eggs cut in half. I wrapped the toes of the bird in different coloured pipe cleaners just to give it a bit of extra bling.

The finished result looks quite nice so I hope you like it.

Jerry the Giraffe Stool

Ok,

Hi everyone, (if anyone)

Sorry I haven’t posted anything in a long time. Our family went on a huge holiday and I decided to leave my computer behind, believing I could just use someone elses if I needed. Anyway, to make up for that I’ve decide to put up pretty much all the nice looking craft things I’ve been doing. (not the bad ones, just the good things).

Today, I would like to show you the giraffe I named Jerry which I created with an old stool which now looks REALLY nice. I painted the whole thing yellow. Then painted the spots and the spots inside the spots. Finally I made the neck and head out of styrafome balls, eggs,  sticky tape, paper cups and glue. The tail I just strung some beads together.
